"We received three separate proposals to implement a new central air system in our new large home. This would be a retrofit project as the home was built in 1985. The most thorough proposal from APA. Bill, VP from the Residential Division, showed up to inspect and review the home. He measured the space and prepare a proposal for the project. After his review, he sat down with us at length to review possible technology options and features. He listened to our concerns regarding zoning preferences for the area and returned a very thorough and detailed proposal.
APA's proposal was by far our favorite out of the three. All three proposals came from three reputable and recommended companies. They were very all close in price. APA's proposal was slightly more expensive, however, the technology suggested to accommodate our three-zone system was superb to the other systems in the other two proposals which made the choice super easy. A last-minute addition to include a heat pump with the project made the decision even easier.
We strongly felt that our needs were completely addressed in the proposal Bill and the team provided. It was very easy to move forward with APA once you also took into consideration the depth of the organization and service teams that would be around to help with the future needs of our system.
The implementation was equally as stellar. The team did a superb job in running all of the ventilation ductwork. They were conscientious, timely and always left our home clean of work items and debris at the end of each day. The installation was meticulous; from the work in the attic to the ductwork connecting the floors to the compressor placement outside. The ventilation grate placements in all of the ceilings look like the HVAC system was original with the house!
Two months have passed and we are extremely satisfied with the system. We can control everything from our phones and the multitude of programming options requires no adjustments.
I would strongly recommend APA and would welcome speaking to any prospective customers about our experience. In the end, it all comes down to this: You get what you pay for and with APA, we know that we made in investment in our home which we will enjoy each and every day."
